Support Our Mission
A Six-Month Music and Healing Initiative by Indigenous Values in Crescendo (IVC)
When the powerful Western Alaska storm devastated coastal communities, many families were forced to leave their homes and seek shelter in Anchorage.Among them are dozens of children who lost not only their homes, but also their sense of stability, friendship, and daily routine.
For the next six months, Indigenous Values in Crescendo (IVC) is stepping forward to bring healing, structure, and joy through the power of music.
Our Mission
Music can restore what tragedy takes away, connection, expression, and hope.IVC will dedicate three hours each day (Sunday–Thursday, 3–6 PM) to teach choir, orchestra, and creative arts to these displaced children, ages 3–15, right here in Anchorage.
Our goal is simple:
To help them smile again, find belonging, and rebuild confidence through song and community.
How You Can Help
Your contribution makes this possible. All donations go directly toward supplies, instruments, and daily programming for the next six months.
